Two years ago during lockdown we came across a piece that had good bones but had had some major damage including borer, I could see the beauty she once was and could be again. To scrap her or burn her would have been an insult to the original craftsmen who built her.
Pulling it apart, treating the wood, replacing damaged pieces I was able to strengthen this lovely lady and ready her for her final coats.
The end result was a as I visioned it and a labour of love.
