A returning client recently asked me to repair the damage done to the top of a desk, I initially tried to repair the damage with the minimal disruption to the finish however in the end I decided the best approach was to sand back the top to bare wood and then colour match the stain and finish.
Overall I was pleased with the results although not a 100% match it was very close, after a good clean and polish the desk looked new again and the client is happy with the final finish.
