A couple of months ago I sanded our dining table and sealed it with wax however it was not suitable for our use, I ended up removing the finish [four hours] and used Whittles Evolution Stains - Raw Stain Light which locks in the natural sanded look then finished in two coats of hard wax oil the result was perfect.
