Not everything is a new build, I have wonderful clients that ask me to refurbish their pieces so that they will enjoy them into the future.

This is an 1940-50’s oak dresser and as you can see not in good condition. Dressers like this are everywhere and unfortunately prone to Borer or wood worm because of that people have a tendency to throw them out, however with treatment pieces can be saved and not end up as firewood or land fill.
This project required a new piece to replace a well eaten back but it has survived its ordeal and with a new paint job will sit in her house for another 20 years.
The original handles unfortunately were damaged so I used handles I had scored from another project and think they suit this piece well.
To give it a bit more of a 1920 - 30’s feel I included some decorative additions to the drawers facing.
