My client saw this on the web and asked me to build it.
An existing client commissioned me to make her a bookcase based on picture. After some research we were able to sketch out the basics and went ahead. Made in 18mm pine and hand painted in an enamel, it now proudly stands tall in her lounge.
Since first positing this I have had comments that you can buy it for cheaper on the web, that is correct however they are not solid wood, shipping from Amazon is around $150 and you have to put it together.
the decision is yours.
