Another returning client who has asked me to do a number of pieces for her, asked to refurbish a wooden hall table, this table was chosen because it fitted a certain space.
It was aver well built unit and presented well, the bottom half was painted in a white Dulux Aquanamel semi gloss and the top was white washed a waxed for protection.
The twist to this story was when they got it home it didn’t fit it was 20mm to wide, they came back and I was lucky that I had 35mm per side to use and I removed enough on both sides to ensure a comfortable fit. Re-edged the unit and white washed and waxed the exposed area.
All were happy.
