A couple of months ago a woman approached me to discuss a refurbishing project that her current life juggling family and business responsibilities does not provide the spare time to pursue.
She has a handsomely solid built bedroom suite in a dark stain and wanted to create a new look and feel, we discussed different options and within a few weeks I was sanding down the bedroom side tables, I am not a lover of paint stripper and prefer to sand furniture, this also helps remove any dents or imperfections.
The units were painted with a low VOC Dulux Aquanamel paint and the tops were whitewashed and waxed.
The finished product has achieved the desired outcome and has helped lighten the room and with the new drapes will certainly be more inviting.
